Can I bring my own furniture into the accommodation?
This depends on what kind of tenancy agreement you have. In case you are renting a furnished proeprty, it is negotiable whether you can bring your own furniture into the accommodation. However, you must obtain the consent from the landlord before doing so. This precaution is in place to prevent any potential damages that may occur during the process of moving or introducing new furniture.
If you wish to make adjustments to the room by bringing your own furniture, you will be required to sign a liability contract. Please be aware that some furniture may be fixed to floors or walls and cannot be moved.
Additionally, it's important to note that you are prohibited from making alterations to the accommodation, such as creating holes in the walls. Furthermore, appliances such as your own washing machines, dryers, heaters, or fridges brought from outside are not permitted.
